Hungarian Film Nights

For the sixth autumn in a row, Tuesdays at Elektriteater are dedicated to Hungarian cinema.

With these film nights, we bring a selection of Hungarian filmmaking to cinema lovers in Tartu. The program is curated by Krisztina Tóth, the Hungarian lecturer at the University of Tartu.

The lineup includes both internationally award-winning Hungarian films and lesser-known cinematic stories that are deeply loved by Hungarians themselves.
The film nights begin on October 1st and run until October 29th, 2024 — one film every Tuesday.

All screenings are free for the public.
