The journey begins in vibrant, spiritual yet harsh Kathmandu and continues towards the majestic Himalayas. Twenty-one-year-old Jamuna accompanies her younger sister on what could be their last trip to the mountains.
Their mission is to take part in harvesting *yarsagumba*, a rare and valuable creature that is part fungus, part insect. Selling it in the city would be highly profitable, enabling Jamuna to support her family and fund her studies abroad. The sisters therefore board a bus to East Rukum, beginning the exhausting climb ahead that depends on luck.
