Koolhaas Houselife, directed by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, is the first film in the Living Architectures series. It takes us inside the iconic Maison à Bordeaux, designed by Rem Koolhaas in 1998 for a man left in a wheelchair after a car accident: an architectural response to a life-changing need.

Through the daily routines of Guadalupe Acedo, the housekeeper, the film reveals the building’s most intimate and unexpected side. Far from glossy perfection, the house is shown as a lived-in, complex space in a sharp, ironic, and touching portrait of everyday life in a contemporary masterpiece.

"Koolhaas Houselife" will be screened as part of Elektriteater's 15th anniversary programme.
