A story about young people and heartache. Youth — a sense of strength, but not yet a sense of responsibility, often leads to thoughtlessness. Gradually, this accumulates into a debt that has to be paid in life. A philosophical reflection on a young man aims to recognise this debt so we can think about it from early on.

On April 20th Elektriteater hosts a special screening of three films with director Meel Paliale: Paliale's "Rolling Papers" (2025), which won Best Film at the Neitsi Maali awards (awarded by the Estonian Film Journalist's Association), "Debt" (1966) and "The Old Thomas was Stolen" (1970), which are mentioned in "Rolling Papers". All films have an introduction by Meel Paliale.

You can purchase a pass if you want to see all three films. Standard passes are 15 euros. For students (with a student card) the pass is 12 euros. To purchase a pass, please write to us at kratt@elektriteater.ee.
