January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A five-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
"The Voice of Hind Rajab" premiered at the Venice Film Festival on 3 September 2025, where it won the Grand Jury Prize and six other parallel prizes. At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, it was nominated for Best Non-English Language Film. At the 98th Academy Awards, it is nominated for Best International Feature Film as the Tunisian entry (ceremony held March 15th 2026).
