No Me Without You

Grief pulls two sisters close. Behind their silence, one truth waits to tear the family apart.

One fatal event reunites two estranged sisters whose desires and rage reveal hidden secrets and release tensions buried deep down. Ridden with guilt and moral ambiguity, the sisters embark on a haunting emotional journey where love and revenge collide.

The film stars Eva Koldits (“Mo Mamma”, “The Black Hole”) and Mari Abel (“Sandra Gets a Job”, “The Invisible Fight”) with Katariina Unt (“Lioness”, “November”) and Andres Mähar (“Take It or Leave It”, “Melchior the Apothecary. The Executioner’s Daughter”) in supporting roles.

Janno Jürgens, whose debut “Rain” screened in PÖFF’s 2020 Baltic Film Competition, reunites with PÖFF Best Cinematography winner Erik Põllumaa (“In the Crosswind”) for this psychological drama. Põllumaa’s camera finds unease in held breath, watchful faces, and charged domestic spaces, while Koldits, Abel, and Mähar give the emotional conflict a raw, lived-in truth. Intimate, provocative, and visually assured, “No Me Without You” explores how love can protect, distort, and finally consume us.
