Pink Floyd: The Wall
Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is one of the most famous music albums in history, having sold approximately 33 million copies worldwide. The album was accompanied by a concert tour and a film, which will be screened as part of the birthday program of Tartu Elektriteater.
The film tells the story of a rockstar who falls into madness due to self-induced mental isolation. Driven to neurosis by the pressures of stardom and traumatic events in his life, he constructs an emotional and mental wall to protect himself. However, this coping mechanism eventually backfires, and Pink demands to be set free.
The film includes big hits such as "Another Brick in the Wall", "Mother", "Run Like Hell" and "Comfortably Numb".
