Haytarma on esimene täispikk krimmitatarlaste mängufilm ja esimene mängufilm krimmitatarlaste küüditamisest. Після вигнання нацистських окупантів з Криму військове командування дозволяє Амет-Хану (Ахтем Сеітаблаєв) разом з його бойовими товаришами відвідати батьків у Алупці. За збігом обставин на час перебування льотчиків у Алупці припадає операція НКВС з примусової депортації кримських татар. Кінопоказ приурочений до Дня пам’яті жертв геноциду кримськотатарського народу.

Haytarma is the first full-length Crimean Tatar feature film and the first feature film about the deportation of Crimean Tatars. The film is based on real events and tells about Stalin’s deportation of the Crimean Tatars in May 1944. This tragic page in the history of the Crimean Tatar people is shown through the eyes of the famous pilot, the national hero of the Crimean Tatars, Amet-Khan Sultan: after the Nazi occupiers were expelled from Crimea, the military command allowed Amet-Khan (Akhtem Seitablayev) and his comrads in arms to visit their parents in Alupka, Crimea. By coincidence, the NKVD operation for the forced deportation of Crimean Tatars occurred during the pilots’ stay in Alupka.
